How does it work?
Your website is hosted on a physical server and in order to allow Internet users to access it, they need to know your domain name.
Since servers are only able to decrypt numeric IP addresses (e.g. 207.142.131.245), the DNS service must translate your domain name into an IP address. Thus, when a user enters the URL www.hosteur.com, he or she is directly redirected to the IP address 207.142.131.245, without having to know it.
